Pre-owned Claas Jaguar 950 forager harvester
The class harvester is extremely flexible because the intake can be adapted to accommodate various crops and harvesting requirements. The length of the cut can be set at needed using the continuously adjustable COMFORT CUT feature. The direct and increasing flow of harvested crops inside the harvester guarantees a high grade of performance. A fruit's path through the forager harvester begins with the intake in the forager head. The mechanical front attachment driver maintains an even flow of harvested crops at a constant, high rotational speed. This highly efficient variant is compatible with all front attachments. Optionally, the harvester can be retrofitted with a split-power or variable front attachment driver. The intake is 730 millimeters wide in total and equipped with four intake and precompression cylinders, which can each be opened to a maximum of 180 millimeters. The continuous precompression of the fruit in the Claas Jaguar 950 ensures an excellent chop quality. The knife drum has a diameter of 630 millimeters and can be equipped with various knives depending on cut length. A direct advantage to the farmer is the ability to sharpen the knives and access the settings for the shear bar comfortably from the cab. In order to further increase efficiency in the field, settings like the clearance are also adjustable from the driver's seat.
The Claas CORNCRACKER
The Claas CORNCRACKER produces an especially well-prepared chop due to its roller profile. The Claas Jaguar 950 can be optionally outfitted with the MULTI CROP CRACKER CLASSIC or the special SHREDLAGE technology. The CLASSIC CORNCRACKER is based on a conventional sawtooth profile, which is well suited to short corn and to the production of silage for bulls and dairy cattle. The SHREDLAGE cutter head is used for extremely long cuts of up to 30 millimeters. The saw teeth in this system have an extra spiral nut, which runs in the opposite direction so that the maize grains are completely crushed. While the rotational speed differential in the CLASSIC cracker is 30%, the SHREDLAGE features a notably higher differential of 50%.
Claas Jaguar 950, used - the efficient harvest helper from Claas
After the crop harvest is crushed by the harvester, it is discharged from the machine onto a transport vehicle. The discharge accelerator of the Claas Jaguar 950 is optimally placed to discharge the chopped material straight out of the system with as little resistance as possible. To further aid this, the diameter of the discharge spout can be widened by up to 10 millimeters depending on crop type and application. The discharge chute features a built-in collision safety system and has a stock swivel angle of 210 degrees.

The class Jaguar 950 gets its power from its Mercedes-Benz OW 471 LA, with a power output of 430 kW (585 HP). The harvester has an automatic two-speed OVERDRIVE transmission and numerous optional features, such as a differential lock to prevent unwanted movements of the vehicle and a tire pressure regulation system to adjust tire pressure to different ground conditions. As a self-driving forager harvester the Jaguar 950 must fulfill the emissions standard level 4, which is easily achieved thanks to the Claas-developed SCR technology and the associated exhaust gas treatment system.
Cabin equipment and comfort features

The on-board program EASY unifies a number of programs, which along with an increase in efficiency also serve to lower the workload of the driver. The CRUISE PILOT, for example, automatically regulates driving speed while shredding and adjusts it as needed. AUTO FILL regulates the automated vehicle filling system while CAM PILOT optimizes handling on the field. The VISTA CAB type cabin of the Jaguar 950 features sun protection, a radio, drink cooling, a CEBIS monitor, and sound dampening internal padding as well as an adjustable steering column and driver's seat. The control instrumentation follows the same logical organization found in Claas combine and Claas tractor products. The advantages of the Jaguar 950 with Shredlage Corncracker have also been internationally recognized.
